Impending Wii Purchase

Back in stock and incredibly tempting ... if anyone can think of any reason why I shouldn't buy one, please post here.

especially since the deal i'm looking at comes with 2000 wii points, the new zelda, and the incredibly fun looking super paper mario

about the only drawback is that if you buy the wii you will have to save up more money to buy the ps3.

true ...

i figure the PS3 can wait til i get home. the wii weighs 1.5 kg's and is far easier to hide in a bag ... and it runs at 480p which makes my TV purchase over here a LOT more bearable.

The Wii is fucking awesome!!!
get it!!!!

only downside I can see is that there aren't that many games coming out for it once you're done with Zelda and Paper Mario.
Don't know if Metroid or Mario Galaxy are slated for this year.
but considering how cheap it is, get it!!!!!!!!!

The Wii is cool get it.

It has a huge install base too so it should encourage publishers to start making games for it.

And only get the PS3 on your return.

was just curious to get some thoughts ... are they available back home yet? it is actually MORE expensive than an xbox ... and there are some incredible titles coming later in the year including this:

Ummm... as far as I know SA will never be getting the Wii. Nintendo isn't releasing it here, so buy as many games as you can there, and when you're here you'll have to import the games.
