I agree..those people that predict 8 wicket wins and get them for 20 over games are the luckiest bastards in the world.....anyway, i guess that's cricket and we'll just have to get over it.

It's getting close for positions 4 to 10. One wrong prediction could mean a big drop (well for me since I am on top of that little group).

Hein loses the top spot on the back of his belief in the West Indies defeating South Africa; i do not feel sorry for him. I lose out on the bonus point in the New Zealand versus Ireland game despite only being 2 runs out; i do feel sorry for me.

it seems the cricket gods are punishing me for losing faith in my team. I've been getting it all wrong this week. Mike and Slade have overtaken me and when SA beat NZ, Rebel Pope and Biskit will overtake me as well.

To make matters worse, Sri Lanka's victory over New Zealand means that SA is 90% likely to play Aussie in the semis meaning you may lose your bet too.

wouldn't be much of a bet if there was no chance of losing it, but if the semis do end up being SA vs Aus and NZ vs SL (which does seem rather likely) then recent trends would suggest that an SA vs NZ final is not very likely to happen either. So Mitch and I would both be wrong, and no one would win the bet (or something like that

I am not afraid of England, but i think Pollock and Ntini will have to come right against New Zealand as early wickets there are the key to us winning it.

Yes NZ will lose to Aus in the super 8s then beat tehm in the semis. SA vs. NZ final.

I hate losing...still it makes victory over the poms all the more satisfying as now we have given them a hope which we will cruelly snatch away.
